VIRGINIA G. HERKES
Virginia G. Herkes ("Ginny"), 82, of Chagrin Falls passed away on July 18th. Beloved wife of the late Charles ("Charlie"); mother of Bill Moore, John Moore (deceased) and Susan Weber; stepmother of Judy Britton and John Herkes; grandmother to Jacob.
Known as a fun-loving, kind hearted person, she was a dear friend to many. Her motto "always be nice to everyone because it will pay off in the end!" A graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art, her hand-painted greeting cards would often be seen in the shops of Chagrin Falls where she was well known and loved.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held July 25th at 1PM at the Evergreen Cemetery in Chagrin Falls.
