VIRGINIA J. KUJAT
Virginia J. Kujat passed away in Gastonia, N. Carolina on June 6, 2009. She was born September 8, 1926, to Robert and Alice Gardner in Cleveland, Ohio. She married Richard R. Kujat in 1946. They were married over 50 years until Richard's death in 1996. They made their home in Chagrin Falls for over 45 years, and then moved to Leesburg, Florida, in 1993.
Virginia is survived by her two daughters; Wendy (Dennis) Street of Charlotte, N. Carolina; and Cynthia (Richard) Howell of Columbia Falls, Montana. Virginia also had two granddaughters; Kelly Street of Prague, Czech Republic; and Erin Street of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.
Virginia worked in food service for the Chagrin Falls Schools for over 20 years, enjoyed sewing, served as a Scout leader, was a loved and valued neighbor, friend to all, a terrific mother, sister and aunt.
Her wishes were for no funeral and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
