BARBARA JUNE ROGERS
Barbara June Rogers, age 77, of Bainbridge Township passed away peacefully August 17. Beloved wife of Dr. Charles E. Rogers, Professor Emeritus, Case Western Reserve University. Loving mother of Gregory (Ellen) Rogers, Linda (Karl) Ziegler, and Diana (Dale) Hendricks. Dear grandmother of Caitlin and Jeffrey Rogers, Julie and Mark Ziegler, and Melissa Powell.
Barbara maintained a position on the Board of the Chagrin Falls Meals on Wheels for 21 years. She was a co-organizer of the Federated Church Elderlife Bridge for many years, and a member of the Concord Circle at the Federated Church. Barbara was an avid lifelong Genealogist and traced her family back to the fourth century. She was a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, and a member of the Order of the Crown of Charlemagne. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 22, at The Federated Church, 76 Bell Street, Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Contributions may be made in Barbara's name to Chagrin Falls Meals On Wheels, P.O. Box 23497, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023, or to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44119-1330.
