PATRICIA ANN (SMITH) BOEHRINGER
Patricia Ann (Smith) Boehringer lived her entire life for others. Most often and accurately described as Saint-like, her devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren was beyond comparison. Her final days and hours were no different. She continued to be concerned for her family's comfort and well being, as she herself had neither. Her incredible emotional strength was finally compromised by her physical limitations as she died, on her own terms and surrounded by family, on September 21, 2009, in the Cleveland Clinic Intensive Care Unit from complications of Pneumonia.
A lifelong resident of Chagrin Falls, she was born March 14, 1938, and attended Case Western Reserve University. Survived by her mother, Nellie Smith; husband, Thomas Boehringer; brother, Robert Wantz; son, Michael Boehringer (Julie); daughter, Jennifer Lekan (Jayson); and grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, and Angelina Boehringer; and Jakob and Abigail Lekan. Predeceased by her father, Burton Smith; sister, Glenda Tilton; and brother, Ronald Wantz.
Patricia's wishes were for a private, immediate family only, graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Chagrin Falls. Donations can be made to her memorial fund at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 6295 Chagrin River Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022.
