DONALD R. MAY
Donald R. May, age 85, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010. Beloved husband of Josephine, dear father of Jeffrey (Karen Crossen) of Littleton, CO, and Bruce (Denise) of Aurora, OH. 1st Lieutenant U.S. Army World War II, 4th Calvary. Retired U.S. Rural Letter Carrier and long-time farmer; attended both Ohio State University and University of Wisconsin. Driving force in the formation of the Auburn Museum and organizer of Auburn's Memorial Day services for many decades.
Visitation 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, Thursday, January 14, immediately followed by a memorial service, at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, Chagrin Falls. Private burial at Maple Shade Cemetery, Auburn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rescue Village Animal Shelter, 15463 Chillicothe Rd, Novelty, OH, 44072.
