PHYLLIS LARSON
Phyllis Larson, 79, beloved wife of David, mother of Lynne, Gary, Karen and Bill, grandmother of 7, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16 after a brief illness. She earned a Masters Degree in Education and taught special education in Kenston School District for 24 years. She lived her life cherishing every moment with family, reveling in music, changing the lives of countless students, befriending strangers, working for social justice and believing all creatures deserve love. Passionate about the environment, politics and music, she made friends in every part of the world she traveled.
Visitation was January 20 at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, 95 S. Franklin Street, Chagrin Falls. Memorial services will be held at 4 pm on Thursday, January 21 at The Federated Church, 76 Bell Street, Chagrin Falls.
