Mary Jane McMillin (nee Capponi) moved on with her journey on February 16, 2010. Mary Jane was the beloved wife of Dale McMillin of Moreland Hills, Ohio. She was the loving Mother of daughter, Karry McMillin Hatch (Jonathan) of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; son, Tracey McMillin (Kelli) of Ballwin, Missouri; and daughter, Courtney McMillin Lapin of Southern California. Mary Jane was the loving Grandmother "Nana" of Sophie, Neeve, Phoebe, Gus, Maggie, Connor, Matilda and Flynne. Mary Jane was born and raised in Kent, Ohio to her parents, Anthony and Elizabeth Capponi. She was the beloved sister of Anthony Capponi, sister-in-law of Jenee Capponi, and the loving aunt of Stacia and Lauren Capponi of Canton, Ohio. Mary Jane will be missed by her constant companion "Fuzzy."
Mary Jane was dedicated to the betterment of young people. She graduated from Kent State University and was an Early Education Specialist. She loved and dealt in primitives and early American antiques. Her house was open to all. She was a member of the Trinity Cathedral and enjoyed the splendid simplicity of the cathedral. She is home with her God.
Funeral Services were held at the Trinity Cathedral on 22nd and Euclid Ave in Cleveland, February 20, 2010. A reception to celebrate the life of Mary Jane was held at Sara's Place, 1501 Chagrin River Rd., Gates Mills, Ohio. Friends, family, and antique buddies were invited.

Mary Jane is well described in this quote by one of her idols and someone with whom she shared such qualities as elegance and unwavering strength, Katherine Hepburn: "Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get — only what you are expecting to give — which is everything. What you will receive in return varies, but it really has no connection with what you give. You give because you love and cannot help giving."
