PAUL C. MILLER
Paul was born August 10, 1914, in Toledo, OH, to William F. and Florence (Raabe) Miller. He graduated from Libby High School, Toledo, and attended Capital University, Columbus. He married Kathryn Luebben in Toledo in 1948.
Paul worked at Hilfinger Corp., Toledo Window Cleaning Co., and Clyde Porcelain Steel (now Whirlpool Corp.), but dedicated most of his work life at Johnson Rubber Company, Middlefield, OH. Paul became President and CEO of Johnson Rubber/Duramax Companies.
He attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cleveland, and was a founding member of Advent Lutheran Church, Solon. He actively supported the Geauga Park District, the Geauga (Heather Hill) YMCA, Geauga Community Hospital, and the American Cancer Society.
He was a member of Chagrin Valley Country Club (for 50+ years), Pine Lake Trout Club, the Rubber Manufacturers' Association, and the Association of Ohio Commodores.
Paul was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bowling and golf. Recently, he made many new friends walking at Beachwood Place and Eton Place.
Surviving are: Sons, P. Charles (Judie) Miller, Jr., Novelty, and John E. (Judy) Miller, Bellevue; daughters, Janice Miller, Southlake, TX, Kathy (Randy) Mattson, Jordan, MN, Joanne (Jim) Collins, Suwanee, GA., and Joyce (Richard) Burke, Mentor-on-the-Lake; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and brother, David (Marie) Miller, Solon.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Kathryn, in June, 2009; his parents, William and Florence (Raabe) Miller; sisters, Betty Miller and Jean McNutt; and a brother, William F. Miller, Jr.
