ANNE E. LASH
Anne E. Lash(nee Kormos), age 93, of Chagrin Falls passed away May 12, 2010. Anne was a resident of Chagrin Falls for close to 70 years. She was born November 25, 1916, in Cleveland, OH, and was a graduate of John Adams High School and one of the first women to attend Case Institute of Technology. Anne was employed by the Chagrin Falls School District for over 20 years, retiring as Treasurer to The Board of Education.
Loving mother of Andrea Lash (Ron Wright) and John(Debra); grandmother of Jamison and Ryan McLean and Kelly Wright; Aunt to 11 nieces and nephews including Andrea Kormos, her loving companion and caregiver. She is preceded in death by her husband, George J.; parents, John Kormas and Helen(nee Lucak); sisters, Mary Havris(Joseph) and Peg Kormos and brother Peter Kormos.
Funeral Services were held at 1pm Monday, May 17th at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, 95 South Franklin St., Chagrin Falls. Interment Evergreen Hill Cemetery.
