REV. LORNA WILLIS-THERIEN


The Reverend Lorna Willis-Therien passed away, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday May 4th, 2010 at the age of 50. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Alfred Therien; daughters, Elizabeth (David) Gabella, Lilianne Therien; step-children, Alexis (Tina Vitale) Therien, Marianne (Claude) Brie, Pascale Therien; and grandchildren, Samuel & Madelaine Gabella, Sacha &Valmont Brie, Olivier, Corinne & Jeremy Therien. She was the daughter of George Edmund Willis and the late Dorothy Anne (Rice) Willis; beloved sister to Dorothy A. “Taffy” (Greg) Eberschlag, J. Pamela (Sherif) Badr, Marion J. “Sunny” Fletcher, George P.R. ”Pat” (Kris) Willis, James E. (Miriam) Willis and aunt & great-aunt to many.

During her time on earth, she touched many lives as a friend, artist, spiritual advisor, mid-wife, psychotherapist, and interfaith minister. Lorna was an amazing person. Inspiring others to reach for their dreams in a loving and caring manner, while fighting the odds against her, she remained a pillar of strength and hope to those around her.

The memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 22nd at 11661 Sperry Rd in Chesterland Oh 44026. After the service there will be a potluck at 5pm for all to come at Lake Shore Lodge, 20 West Main St.. Madison OH 44057 (blue door).
