DAVID M. (Mike) WALKER
David M. (Mike) Walker, age 64, passed away October 31, 2010, following a five-week battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita (Boslaugh); sons, David of Moreland Hills, Steven of Chicago; daughter, Anne Czajkowski of Michigan; grandchildren, Ava and Cole Czajkowski; and sisters, Kathy Alstrom and Joni Mahan. He was born in Dayton, Ohio to David D. & Marion E. Walker. His father moved his family to Chagrin Falls in 1958. Mike graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 1964 and then GMI in Flint, Michigan as an engineer. For 40 years, Chagrin Falls was home for him and his family. After a rewarding career at General Motors in Parma he retired to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and started a remodeling and painting business that brought him much satisfaction.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 6th, at 4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Chagrin Falls. All are welcome to come and share their memories of a great man. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or perform a home improvement project in his honor.
