Vincent E. Kim
Vincent E. Kim, age 30, of Lancaster, formerly of Chagrin Falls, died Nov. 7. He was employed by Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, and was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his father, H. Elwood Kim; and grandparents, James and Mary Wagonseller. Vincent is survived by his wife, Alexis Hecker Kim; daughter, Sabrina Jordan; son, Calvin Elijah; parents, Anne and John Bauswein; brother, Christian Bauswein; sister, Johanna Bauswein, all of Bainbridge Twp.; grandmother, Cornelia Racz of Auburn Twp.; grandmother, Ruth Kim of Amanda; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Vince attended Kenston Schools and graduated from Amanda-Clearcreek High School. He attended Ohio University-Lancaster. Vince was passionate about history, astronomy and music.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 11, 2010, at Lancaster Community Church with Pastors Matt Johnson and Ron Grubb officiating. Caring Cremation followed. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery at a later time. Military rites were conducted by the Lancaster Veterans Burial detail.
