Edward John Boyle, 92, Clarksville, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Montgomery Care & Rehab, Clarksville, TN.
A private service will be held Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Restland Cemetery, Bainbridge Township, OH. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, Chagrin Falls, OH.
He was born July 19, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of Harry K. and Bernice Mack Boyle. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Boyle; brothers, Paul Boyle, Robert Boyle; and son, Gary Boyle.
Mr. Boyle was a U.S. WWII Navy Veteran and a member of Gateway Christian Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Noreen Starr (Kevin) McNeeley, Clarksville, TN; grandsons, Brian (Kelly) McNeeley, Clarksville, TN, Edward McNeeley, Wilmington, NC; great-granddaughters, Margaret and Moira McNeeley, both of Clarksville, TN.
