JEAN EDGAR HELLER
Jean Edgar Heller passed away January 21, 2011. The daughter of Paul Blake Edgar and Rose Wells Edgar (deceased) was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a native Clevelander and a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. She attended Western Reserve University and the University of Arizona. Mrs. Heller was a Medical Technologist and in later years, a Retail Sales Representative for Ameritrust. When her girls were growing up Mrs. Heller was a Girl Scout Leader and Troop Services Director for Bedford Heights. She was a dedicated member and Past Regent of the Molly Chittenden Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of Friendship
(Woodward) Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Heller volunteered at the Sassy Cat in Chagrin Falls.
Mrs. Heller is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward E. Heller; daughters, Lindajean Heller Western, Janet Heller Martin; son-in-law, James E. Martin; sister, Shirley E. Elliot (David K.) of California; and grandchildren, Erin and Nathan Western, Amanda, James and Mallory Martin; and loving nephews, Scott (Gwenn), Jim (Susie), Rick (Michelle), and Bob (Kathleen).
A Celebration of Jean's life will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Garfield Memorial Methodist Church, 3650 Lander Road, Pepper Pike, OH 44124. Family suggests donations to the Cancer Support Team of University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center (formerly Ireland Cancer Center) of University Hospital Case Medical Center.
