Frances Sotera (nee Hoffman), 86 years of age, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Survived by her husband of 68 years, Sam Sotera; devoted mother of Diana (Robert) Fill of Mantua; Dennis (Donna) Sotera and Darryl (Alaine) Sotera both of Auburn. Dear sister of Mary Knopf of Bainbridge, Buck (Lois) Hoffman of Arizona and Donald (Jenny) Hoffman of Troy. Cherished grandmother of Amy (Michael) Fill-Hill, Craig (Dawn) Sotera, Robert (Marie) Fill, Darrin Sotera, Dana (Tony) Marason and Curt (Adrienne) Sotera and great-grandmother of 8.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Hoffman; her brother, Harvey Hoffman; and sister, Virginia Wilcox.
No calling hours. Private services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Auburn Township Fire/Rescue Squad, 10950 Washington Street, Auburn, Ohio 44023. Arrangements are by Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
