KOEPF LETITIA MASON
LETITIA MASON KOEPF
Born: December 11, 1928
Married April 2, 1947
Died: May 12, 2011
Letitia Koepf died peacefully, on Thursday, May 12th, surrounded by family. Letitia ("Tish") was the beloved wife of Willard C. Koepf (Bill) for 64 years. She was mother to Claudia Jackson (John), Philip M.
(Mary), Paul L. (Maren) and Wendy Davis (Bill). Tish is survived by her husband and children, along with thirteen grandchildren: Scott Heartz, Jason Heartz, Rebecca Jackson, Christopher Koepf, Tyler Koepf, Zachary Koepf, Laurel Koepf, Jenna (Koepf) Stein, Britta Koepf, Bridget Davis, Melissa Davis, Natalie Davis, Will Davis and one great grandchild, Maxwell Heartz. She was daughter of Gerald and Mina Mason.
Tish met Bill, the love of her life, as a senior in high school (Buffalo, New York) and they remained an inseparable couple. They first moved to Chagrin Falls with their family in 1962.
She was particularly proud of her grandchildren, all raised in the Chagrin Valley.
Tish quietly brought grace and beauty into many lives, through her love of historic homes, clean lines, fresh-cut flowers, and painting. She was a long time member of the Chagrin Falls Historical Society, Cat's Den Garden Club and Pymatuning Yacht Club.
Tish joined her husband, Bill, in his love of skiing and sailing, while he loved giving her the opportunity to travel across the country and abroad. She was a fearsome scrabble player, skilled seamstress, and lover of antiques. Most importantly, Tish loved creating joy-filled gatherings for friends and family, where she reveled in the conversation and laughter. She will be dearly missed.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Federated Church or The Chagrin Valley Art Center.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, FRIDAY, MAY 20th, at the FEDERATED CHURCH, 76 BELL STREET, CHAGRIN FALLS, OHIO 44022.
