SUSAN L. FAULDER
Susan L. Faulder, age 69, of Chagrin Falls, passed away on July 3, 2011, after a 3 year battle with cancer.
Susan grew up in Orrville, OH, graduated with a BS degree from Akron University and a Masters of Humanities from John Carroll University. She worked over 40 years as a teacher, most of them at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights.
She loved teaching and working with the young first and second graders. Susan's passion was her love of music; she sang for years in the Cleveland Symphony Chorus. Susan was also passionate about her family and friends, and the students she taught.
She is survived by her sister, Sara Faulder of Menlo Park, CA.
A celebration of her life is to be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. at Hathaway Brown School, 19600 North Park Blvd., Shaker Heights, OH 44122.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Faulder Prime Literature Fund at Hathaway Brown School, 19600 North Park Blvd., Shaker Heights, OH 44122; or the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall, 11101 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, OH, assisted the family with arrangements.
