ROBERT W. NEWTON
Robert Newton, age 84, a resident of Solon since 1965, died November 4, 2008, at Maison Ainé Nursing Home in Stow, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Velma, in 2005, and by his parents, Leroy and Mildred Newton. He is survived by two sister's-in-law, Clara Berger of East Troy, Wisconsin and Joan Hein of Goshen, Indiana, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Robert retired from National Casting Company in 1980. He had his pilot's license and enjoyed flying general aviation aircraft. He also enjoyed building and flying ultralight airplanes.
Interment was private.
