LOIS MARI LAWTON
Lois Mari Lawton (nee Ondrey), 86, of Aurora, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2011. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Florian K. Lawton. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Lawton, David Lawton, Dawn (Bryan) Jaicks, and Patty (Randy) Brill. Grandmother to Ashley, Hannah, Courtney, Stepfanie, Kaitlin, James, and Shannon.
Lois was a graduate of John Adams High School and Ursuline College. She was an active member of The Christ Child Society as well as a volunteer for the Women's Guild of St. Dominic's Church in Shaker Heights, Ohio. She was an avid reader. Lois loved to travel with her husband, Florian, on his art workshops that took them across the United States and into parts of Europe.
There will be a memorial Mass 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 496 E. Washington St., Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44022.
Donations can be made to St. Joan of Arc Church or The Valley Art Center. Arrangements by Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
