DAVID PHILLIP THALMAN
David Phillip Thalman, age 62, of South Russell passed away November 6, 2011. Loving husband of Lois (nee Ziherl) for 36 years. Father of J.D. (Kristen) and Bradley Thalman. Grandfather of 2-week-old Hailey Thalman and a very good friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Thelma Thalman of Dayton, Ohio.
David was President of Troy Oaks Homes and Residential Club in Troy, Ohio. He was an active board member of the Ohio Manufactured Home Association. David was a longtime resident of South Russell, Ohio and Hunter's Ridge Golf and Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida. David was an avid golfer and enjoyed the company of his many golfing friends. His proudest accomplishment on the golf course was his hole-in-one he made on July 11, 2006.
The family received friends November 9, 2011, at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Evergreen Hill Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at the Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m.
