JIVIDEN, ROSEMARY
ROSEMARY JIVIDEN
Rosemary Jividen, 87, of Altoona, FL, formerly of Bainbridge and Munson, passed away on Thursday, November 20th, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver C. Jividen, former head of the Burton School District and former Superintendent of Geauga County Schools.
Born in Lima, Ohio, she graduated from Lima Central High School; attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio; graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School, Boston, Massachusetts; and received a B.S. in education from Kent State University. She was employed as a teacher of English in the Kenston School District from 1957 – 1966. At the time of her death, Mrs. Jividen was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Eustis, FL and of the Umatilla, Florida Woman’s Club.
Survivors include her cousins, John D. Johnson and Linda Nice, both of Lima, Sherrie Franklin of Dayton, and Betty M. McLemore of Winnsboro, LA.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, November 24th at the First United Methodist Church in Eustis, FL with burial at Florida National Cemetery.
