John W. Kilroy
John W. (Jerry) Kilroy … On April 6th Jerry was called to heaven. He is survived by his children; Ted Kilroy of Chagrin Falls, Mike Kilroy (Vicki) of Farmersville, OH, Pat Pim (Larry) of Ravenna, OH, and Tim Kilroy (Alice) of Pittsburgh, PA. He was preceded in death by wife, Frances M. Kilroy, and daughter, Barbara Kilroy-Botwinik. He will be sadly missed also by grandchildren, Tami, Kim, Anthony, Christopher, Ryan, Kristen and Evan.
A lifelong resident of the Cleveland area residing in Chagrin Falls since 1952, Jerry was a veteran of WWII and a 1950 graduate of Case Institute of Technology. He worked as an Electrical Engineer and Manufacturers' Representative in a company he and Frances started in 1959. He was instrumental in the creation of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and later St. Joan of Arc School in Chagrin Falls, and was a member of the Cleveland Engineering Society.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 12, 6-9 p.m., at Stroud- Lawrence Funeral Home at 95 South Franklin St. in Chagrin Falls, OH. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 13th, at 10 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 496 E. Washington St. in Chagrin Falls, OH. Burial will immediately follow the service at Riverview Cemetery in Russell Twp., OH.
