Jane Healas Fischley, formerly of Chagrin Falls, OH, was the beloved wife of 57 years to John Fischley. Loving mother to Susen (William) Arn of Georgetown, OH, Nancy (David) Parks of Cincinnati, OH, Pamela (Eliot) Hermanson of Chagrin Falls, OH, David Fischley of Chagrin Falls, OH, James (Michelle) Fischley of Mason, OH, and Barbara (Brad) Powell of Loveland, OH. Dear sister to Donald (Helen) Healas of Everett, WA, sister-in-law to Burton Fischley of Stuart, FL. Cherished grandmother to Andrew (Katy) Arn, Emily (Charles) Ernst, Jesse Parks, Eric Parks, Michael Hermanson, Maggie Hermanson, Duncan Fischley, Grace Fischley, Katie, Powell, Jonathon Powell, Steven Powell and Alex Powell. Jane was the proud great-grandmother of five and a beloved aunt to many.
Jane passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, after a long battle with breast cancer. Jane was a long-time resident of Chagrin Falls where she raised her family, all graduates of Chagrin Falls High School. Jane had a successful career as a buyer for Chagrin Dept. Store, Stroud's River West, and Havre's. Jane enjoyed quilting, the theater, and traveling with her many dear friends.
Friends and family will be received at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home in Chagrin Falls, Ohio from 10am to Noon, Saturday, December 13th. A private burial at Evergreen Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests expressions of sympathy be directed to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH, 45206.
