STEVE A. RIBICH
Steve A. Ribich, age 88, of Solon for 59 years. Dearly beloved husband and best friend to Marie (nee Marron) for 64 years; loving father of Mary Beth Wood; he was the youngest of eight siblings: Nick, Paul, Tom, Joe, Frank, John, Mary (George) Dowling (all deceased); dear brother-in-law of Sue Ribich and Jane Marron; very special cousin of Ellen Murphy Mullee and nephew Thomas Cahal who helped him so graciously. Uncle to many.
Steve was an Army Veteran of WWII, and fought proudly for his country; he was a life member of Solon VFW Post 1863, and parishioner of St. Rita Church. Steve was a graduate of East Tech High School in 1942 and attended Fenn College after the war. They married October 25, 1947. He was a mechanical design engineer and worked in Solon for many years with his company Steve A. Ribich Engineering Company. Steve was a kind, gentle man who loved his family and his pets, and all of God's creatures. He loved feeding the birds and fishing, but always threw them back. He was loved and will be missed.
A private service will be held with interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
