DIANA MARIE O'KEEFE
Diana Marie O’Keefe, 66, of Dublin, formerly of Delaware, died December 10, 2008, in Whetstone Care Center. She was born May 10, 1942, in Delaware to William and Leah (Karshner) Whetsel. She graduated from Willis High School in 1960 and O.S.U. 1964. She was a resident of Chagrin Falls for more than thirty years where she and her husband, David, owned a fabric shop and returned to Delaware in 1999. She retired in 2004 as pre-school special needs teacher from Jonathan Alder School. Diana moved to Dublin two years ago and was a member of the Church of the Redeemer in Dublin.
She is survived by her mother, Leah Whetsel, of Dublin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth O’Keefe and her husband, Misha Radovanovic, of Cincinnati and Rebecca and Dan Shorter of Dublin; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Valerie of Dublin; four grandchildren, Merrick, Aleksandar, Eli and Margo; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, in 1995.
Visitation will be at the Robinson Funeral Home, Delaware on Friday 5:00– 8:00 P.M. and Saturday 9:00-11:00A.M. A graveside service and interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery at 11:30 A.M. with a Celebration of Life Service at the Church of the Redeemer in Dublin at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Lance Fox officiating.
