JOHN A. (JACK) CLARK
John A. (Jack) Clark, age 80, of Solon died January 3, 2009. 1955-1974.
John was a Phar-macist and owner of Washington Pharmacy in Cleveland Hts. from 1955-1974. He later worked for a few years at Independence Pharmacy and finally at Medic in Solon until 1990. John was born May 2, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to Andrew Milton Clark and Doris Lucille (nee Morter) Clark. He graduated from Shaw High School and Ohio Northern University. He was proud of his service as a Marine during the Korean Conflict. He married Dorothy on August 1, 1952. Mr. Clark was an avid skeet shooter at Hawthorne Valley Skeet Club, he was a member of Cleveland Academy of Pharmacists and Sons of The American Revolution. He enjoyed ancestral research and genealogy, Civil War history, and traveling with his family.
Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Phillips); loving father of Cynthia Clark-Reilly, and Jeffrey (Michelle Zaremba) Clark; dear grandfather of Marshall, Emma, Katie, Becky, and Eliza; brother of the late Beverly; loving uncle of Eileen, Mark, Susan, Daniel, Larry, and Lori. A Celebration of Life Service was held Wednesday, January 7, at KINDRICH-McHUGH STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON, where family visited with friends. Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
