Martha M. "Marty" Hadsell, (Nee McInally, Nee Qua) of Naples, Florida and Bainbridge Twp., Ohio, passed away peacefully at home in Naples on Tuesday, January 27th, 2009. Born Martha Ann McInally, the daughter of William K. and Gertrude S. McInally in Jackson, Michigan April 2nd, 1932. Mrs. Hadsell is survived by her loving husband, Norman Wells Hadsell, sons; Stephen M. Qua, II (Martha) of Orange Village, Ohio, D. Bradford Qua (Barbara) of Vermilion, Ohio and William Blakeman Qua (Mindy) of South Russell, Ohio; sister to Mary McInally Grover of Traverse City, Michigan, step-mother to Nancy Robinson of Louisville, Colorado and David Hadsell (Cheryl) of Evergreen, Colorado; grandmother to Parke F. Qua, McInally W. Qua, Paige A. Qua, Bradford S. Qua, Grace M. Qua, Claire M. Qua; step-grandmother to Diana R. Gutowski (Matthew), Mark C. Robinson, Luke L. Hadsell, Alex L. Hadsell and Maria L. Hadsell.
Mrs. Hadsell was a graduate of Jackson High School and The University of Michigan School of Literature, Science and the Arts in 1955.
Mrs. Hadsell was a member of The Children's Guild of Cleveland, an association that raises money to educate underprivileged children at risk in the inner city. She played golf avidly and competed in club tournaments and Women's Golf Association events at Mayfield Country Club of Lyndhurst, Ohio and Wilderness Country Club of Naples. She was a skilled seamstress, knitter and needle-pointer, played bridge and doted on her family.
