DEBORAH L. WALLACE
Deborah L. Wallace, 55, of Novelty, OH, died February 15, while visiting her parents, June & Don Wallace (Farwell, MI), at their winter home in Palmetto, FL.
Prior to moving to Ohio in 1987, Deb was a Special Education teacher in Livonia, MI, for twelve years. She continued here teaching career in the West Geauga School district. In addition to being Isaac’s full time mom, Deb was a long time volunteer and avid supporter of the Geauga Public Library system. She also spent countless hours helping Newbury Elementary students improve their reading skills and devoted her summer leisure time to reading children’s books in order to make appropriate recommendations during the school year. Deb also championed the Advanced Reader Program in the Newbury Public Schools.
In addition to her husband, Sam Praul, Deb is survived by her son, Isaac Praul (both of Novelty); sister Lisa (Randy) Rolls of Highland, MI; brother David (Kelly) Wallace of Bellevue, NE; and sister Mary (David) Fremin of Colorado Springs, CO.
There will be a memorial service at the Chagrin Valley Athletic Club on February 28, 2009. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00PM, with the memorial service starting at 3:00PM.
