CHARLES B. COLLINS
Charles B. Collins, 82, died February 24 at his residence in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Born in Kansas City, Chuck served in the Army Air Corp. After his discharge from the service, he attended both Columbia and Princeton Universities. In 1949 he joined the Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, Ohio. Chuck married Barbara Davis in 1955 and raised their family of three children; Cathie, Bill and Bart in Cleveland. Chuck retired from Lubrizol in 1983. In retirement, he divided his time between Chagrin falls, Ohio, and Marathon, Florida, where he pursued his interests in travel, history, fishing, golf and aviation.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Barbara, and his children; Cathie (Bob) Knight, Bill (Diane), and Bart (Margaret) Collins, as well as seven grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home and an informal service will be held at Mayfield Country Club this summer.
Donations may be made to The Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
