CATHERINE ANN MARCIA
Catherine Ann Marcia, age 71, of Chagrin Falls passed away April 4, 2009. Cathe was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Kayuha of Wheeling, West Virginia, and brother of Henry (deceased). She is the mother to Adam (wife Nicki) and Sean (deceased). Cathe is the grandmother to Adam Jr., Alexander, and Anthony. Cathe grew up in Wheeling, W.Va., attended Wittenberg University (B.A.) in Springfield, Ohio, and Buffalo State (M.A.) in New York. Cathe, an artist and art teacher, taught in the Lewiston Porter School System in New York, The Park School of Buffalo, and in the Aurora and Chagrin Falls School Systems in Ohio. Cathe was an uartist in every sense and a creative inspiration to her students and many friends around the world. A skilled weaver, painter, illustrator, and potter, Cathe's work and spirit will forever bless us.
Cathe's ashes will be buried with her mother, father, and brother at the Stone Church, Wheeling City Cemetery in West Virginia. Friends gathered at the Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home in Chagrin Falls, Wednesday, April 8, 2009.
