He was a long-time member of Pine Lake Trout Club in Bainbridge. Jeff was a lover of the outdoors, sun, sand and sea. He enjoyed golf, snorkeling, and exploring throughout the Caribbean, and at former homes on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles.

He will be fondly remembered for his generous and sharing nature and his wonderful parties. He had many lifelong friends.

He is survived by son, Scott (Laura) of Bainbridge; daughter, Christy (Jesse) Theis of Kauai, Hawaii; grandchildren, Dana and Rachel Jerpbak; sister, Janet (Ted) Podolak of Mentor; nieces, Lauren Podolak, and Whitney Anzano; and cousin, Tom Jerpbak.
