JAMES EDWARD McINTYRE
James E. McIntyre, "Mac," age 87, of Aurora, born October 20, 1921, passed away May 27, 2009. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy (nee Roland); and son, Brian (partner, Frank Corbella) of Milwaukee, WI.
Mac served in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator during WWII. During his retirement, he was influential in the building of Ronald McDonald House. He was particularly interested in the needs of children throughout his life. Mac will be remembered for his support of his beloved Notre Dame University.
VISITATION 10:30 A.M. SATURDAY, MAY 30, 2009, at The Church of the Resurrection, 32001 Cannon Road, Solon, 44139 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Interment Monday, June 1, 2009, at St. Brigid's Cemetery in Meadville, PA at 12 Noon.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Ronald McDonald House, 10415 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, 44106-4709 or to The Church of the Resurrection, 32001 Baldwin Road, Solon, 44139.
